Strawberry Freezer Jam

What is better than the taste of fresh strawberries in the middle of winter?  This simple, 3-ingredient strawberry freezer jam preserves the flavor of summer so you can enjoy it year-round!

What’s even better is how EASY it is to make! You only need three ingredients:

4 16-oz containers of fresh strawberries (one flat)

1 1/2 cups granulated sugar

5 Tablespoons instant pectin

Wash strawberries and remove stems and any blemishes. Crush them or briefly pulse them in the blender, depending on the texture you desire. Mix the sugar and pectin together, then combine with the crushed strawberries. Stir continuously for three minutes. Let mixture set for at least 30 minutes. Transfer jam to freezer containers and store in the freezer for up to one year.

That’s it! It’s so easy. I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as my family does. I had two of my girls helping me without complaint, and one daughter made the above awesome video to share. Isn’t she great?! The hardest part was not eating too many strawberries and saving enough for the jam.

Now that you know how easy it is to do, go make some jam!
