I love black beans! They are, in my opinion, so much tastier than pinto beans. I found a great recipe on www.tone-and-tighten.com for Mock Cafe Rio Black Beans, and tweaked it a little bit to make it more to my liking. The most helpful thing I learned from the recipe was to NOT drain the black beans before adding my seasonings! It was strange for me, but the result was simply game-changing. You’ve just got to try this recipe! It is so delicious you can eat them as a dip for baked corn chips without any other toppings and thoroughly please your taste buds!
